Grandmaster Ivan Trofimov is our newest member!
He runs the greatest online checker site 64-100.com
Just completed the Brazilian room with about 150 books.
Straight/English Checkers room, with 264 books is done too.
The Pool room is done the old way, and Russian Checkers room (the largest) is done half way with about 600 books.
Ahead is the International Checkers room and also the Magazine section.
Surprisingly very few registered users.
FMJD Webmaster GMI Alexander Presman from Netherlands just joined OCL, he was instrumental with the previous library.
The World Champion Sergio Scarpetta from Italy became the first official OCL member! Thank you, Sergio, and welcome!
The Straight / English Checkers section is basically completed, 500 books and magazines added, and it has a dynamic Search to instantly find what you are looking for, just click the Looking Glass (Global Search) and type a few letters of the author’s name or book title.
The bulk of Russian Checker section is also complete, but now I am adding individual files, and this is a time consuming task, with Russian names and translations.
Two other large sections are in the future, Brazilan and International checkers sections.
Loading books (about 6,000) is the first stage. Stage 2 would be correcting years, titles, author names, perhaps adding book pictures.
Stage 3 is to engage readers in adding new material, improving navigation and adding features.
