The library’ starting date

Looking at the list of books one might assume the OCL library started on May 1, 2025. It is not so, this was the day it occurred to me to start recording dates for books, for magazines I added the dates much later. Dates are important to monitor what was added recently, thus never missing anything. All you need to do is click on the date label twice to sort the table in the descending order.

I don’t really know when I started. I recall losing the database and starting over. So lets ballpark January 1, 2025 when I started using the database.
But 8300 files later I still enter books collected by the CheckersUSA library, OCL’s predecessor, that was started in early 2000. And I brought with me many books when I left Soviet Union in 1979. So what is the starting date?
