This is the third generation of the Online Checkers Library.
The two prior ones were on the http://checkersusa.com/books/ started in early 2000.
The last one is still running, but in the limited capacity.

The idea was to:
1. Collect and save the surviving and very rare checkers books for future generations;
2. Create a freely available, safe and robust online repository;
3. Make a quick dynamic search to help the researchers.
All this is achieved in the third generation of the library.

But to show books it was necessary to find them first.
Dozens of players around the world started to search and scan hard to find checker books. Their hard work materialized in almost 8,000 books and magazines on many types of checkers, in many languages.

I started making sites in 1996, over time created dozens of them and still run a bunch of groups on Facebook. This library is the culmination of my efforts, hope it will bring a lot of happy hours to its readers.
